The Future Skills Centre is a combined conference, events and learning hub, purpose built as a state-of-the-art training facility.
We are proud to host an Executive Boardroom, an immaculately presented Conference Suite accommodating up to 160 people and 26 meeting and training rooms.
With a range of inbuilt AV and event technology, we can support your event requirements and also accommodate hybrid events.

Event Catering
We care about what our guests eat. That is why we have partnered with Exeter based responsible catering company, Fresha, to deliver our conference catering.
Sourcing high quality, fresh foods from accredited local suppliers, we can deliver delicious and nutritious meals directly to your meeting room, whilst also cutting down on food miles and supporting the local economy.

FAQs
Can I create a hybrid event?
We are proud to have hybrid event technology meaning we can accommodate hybrid events in our Conferences Suites and Executive Boardroom. Our Executive Boardroom includes use of our Meeting Owl as standard, along with a remote Poly Studio bar available to support in other meeting rooms. We are able to make recommendations for companies to support with full hybrid conference delivery.
Do you have an onsite café?
During term-time, our onsite café services tea, coffee and hot and cold meals from 08:30 – 15:00. If our café service is unavailable, we are able to make recommendations for nearby facilities.
Does the Future Skills Centre cater for allergens and dietary requirements?
Special dietary requirements will be catered for if we are advised of these at the time of booking.
Is the Future Skills Centre Accessible?
All areas of the Future Skills Centre are fully accessible. We have designated parking areas for disabled visitors, and guide dogs are permitted on site.
What are the opening hours for the Future Skills Centre?
We are open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00, however we are happy to discuss opportunities to host events of an evening or weekend.
Can I book a room for multiple days?
We welcome bookings across several days. Rooms are locked overnight, giving guests the option of leaving equipment in the rooms for the duration of your event.
Is car parking available at the Future Skills Centre?
We have free parking for up to 200 cars, along with being accessible via bus, train and plane.
What COVID-19 measures do you have in place?
The Future Skills Centre is a large and spacious venue allowing us to maintain and encourage social distancing. Please follow the guidance at the time of your visit, and we request this is communicated to all of your delegates and guests.
Masks are available at reception if you wish to use one. Hand sanitiser is located at frequent points throughout the building, and we ensure a through clean of each room between use. For more information, please see the Exeter College COVID-19 guidance.
Can I bring my own catering for the event?
We are unable to permit external catering without prior approval. Working with Fresha we are delighted to be able to offer a range of menus for your meeting or conference. To view our menu click here
Cancellation policies
All Events
• Cancellation more than 12 months prior to the event: the amount of any third-party charges reasonably incurred by the FSC for the event on behalf of the client
• Cancellation between 6 months and 12 months prior to the event: the amount of
the deposit plus any third-party charges reasonably incurred by the FSC for the
event on behalf of the client
• Cancellation between 2 months and 6 months prior to the event: 25% of the total
expected charges plus any third-party charges reasonably incurred by the FSC for
the event on behalf of the client
• Cancellation between 14 days and 2 months prior to the event: 50% of the total
expected charges plus any third-party charges reasonably incurred by the FSC for
the event on behalf of the client
• Cancellation less than 14 days prior to the event: 100% of the total expected
charges plus any third-party charges reasonably incurred by the FSC for the event
on behalf of the client
